I just noticed that the DN-15TB will be discontinued once out of stock and thought the replacements might be pretty cool. I was wrong. It's sad enough that A-D won't sell violet terminal blocks, but why twist the knife and REPLACE a cool and handy device with something to the effects of the ZL-CMA15 or ZL-CMA15L. I don't know about the rest of your customers, but I'd much rather have the DN-15TB.

What don't you like about the new replacements? I have used the DN-15TB in the past. I do see where the new ones actually attach to the cpu where as the DN-15TB can be din rail mounted. Is this the issue you are having, the mounting?

Exactly. I would much rather have the adapter mounted on the DIN rail than the CPU.

I would rather not hang things that large from a comm port. Just like huge stuff in USB ports. But if the manufacturer of the other doesn't make them ...
And our first ZL-CMA15L was defective (though it was quickly replaced) leaving us with a weird feeling.

If the ZL-CMA15L was hinged so it could bend and fold down, it would be an improvement, and relieve some anxiety. It would also allow the setup to be mounted in a shallow cabinet.

The problem in using that product, in a D2 system for example, is that the ZipLink module would then cover the front of the power supply or your first and second I/O modules.
