Controlling digital I/O without ZL-RTB50

Is there another way to control the digital I/O on a Sure Servo system without this breakout board? I ordered one in September, and the website just updated the backorder time to December 15...

I have a project that I need to complete soon, and if I can control the I/O another way, it would be a big help.
