  • DL06 V memory to Excel

How would I go about pulling 300-600 consecutive V memory registers in an 06 to a PC running Excel? Am looking at Modbus Poll software online but I'm not just not sure this is the best choice for my temporary test stand

You could get an OPC driver and I think Excel can collect data from that.

When I've done something somewhat similar (not 100% realtime), I wrote a script in the PC-based HMI to poll the registers and write out to a CSV, which can be opened in Excel or pretty much any spreadsheet.

The above link will explain using VBA to retrieve information from Modbus TCP to excel.

Another way would be to use AdvancedHMI to get the information using Modbus TCP or RTU. You can then write the information to an excel file.

Depending on your actual application and the frequency that you need to look at the data, would depend on the method you use.
      Hope this helps you out.
