  • EtherNet/IP to Profibus gateway

Has anyone had a good experience with an EtherNet/IP to Profibus gateway?

I am looking to convert a project to P3000 that has an Allen Bradley PLC-5 5/60 and a Siemens TI505-6660 PLC.
Both are running a good amount of I/O, digital and analog, as well as multiple drives over Profibus.
If the Profibus can be kept as the communication, it could save a lot of time in rewiring and new remote I/O controls

The hours you'll lose to configuring a gateway are better spent on hardware.
Not to mention how badly the manuals tend to have been translated from mandarin.
That's not going to do what you want the way you want to do it.
What brand of drives are we talking about anyways.
