    Beginner Click PLC Question. When might you use an interupt vs a subroutine. The Click help topics on these don't clue me in as to when to use one vs the other.

    Interrupts are for when you absolutely have to do something right now. Interrupts increase scan time and are not usually part of the typical PLC program.

    Subroutines are a way to reuse logic or to logically separate portions of PLC logic and are used fairly frequently in PLC programming.
