  • Brewery Help!

    Hey all!

I'm looking for some help with putting together a control system for my brewery. It doesn't have to be fancy. I need to control temp of the fermentors (cooling on/off), open/close steam valves for the kettle/mash tun, and control pump speed (VFD's).

Brewtastic, I am looking into the same as we are in the process of moving up from a 3bbl to a 10bbl brewhouse. I have been using a BCS-460 to control 4 temp points for three fermentors and three solenoids for controlling glycol. I think for people to understand what we need is to first layout all of the functions needed. How many fermentors do you have? How many Temp prob locations for fermertors and brewhouse? How many outputs will be needed? I will be following this one and hope to help. For my BCS-460 it can only manage 4 temp probes but the bcs-462 can manage 8. It can only use thermister based temp probes though. I really like the Productivity Starter Package to help be break into the next level of automation control. Prost!!!
