  • Write to EEPROM in click plc

Is there anyway to access the EEPROM memory on the click plc values that need to be stored long term, or is there currently no such functionality?
    Thanks

What do you mean? What do you need to accomplish?

Do you mean at run time? if so, I don't think so, but if you get a CLICK with battery backup (and install a battery) it should hold retentive values for over a year (more if you replace battery as needed)

At program time one can use "initial value" in the address picker (or constants) and I'm pretty sure those must be written to the EEPROM

Yes, I meant at run time. I guess battery backup is the way to go.
        Thanks

Will the Read Data/Write Data functions in the PLC menu do what you need.
It does not have much granularity of ranges of datatypes, but it CAN save existing data in case of failure -- or for propagating across several machines of the same build. You de/select the whole datatype register!
We use these functions to make duplicate machines have the same settings - after any updates.
