  • Converting Voltage to mA?

I need to wire humidity sensors, the cost effective option came from TE, they only offer voltage output 1-4v supplied by 5v. The maximum wire distance as far as I can tell is about 60ft. Will I need to use amperage for this, especially if I want to run a 24v relay in the same cable?

I figured I might need a op-amp of some sort. Google searching ended up with transconductance amp and XTR series sensor interface from TI. I know nothing about op-amps or how to select for my application. Will I be fine with just voltage sensing?

    Maybe this will help?

A little bit cheaper and closer to your voltage range:
