  • H2-CITRO and HTL encoder

    I am a newbie when it comes to encoders and and hoping for some confirmation before I start hooking things up. I have a ES1C encoder that I am interested in hooking up to the H2-CITRO and want to make sure I do it correctly.
    From my understanding:
    Code:
    ES1C ---> H2-CITRO
    A  -----> 1A
    /A ----->  Not connected
    B ------> 1B
    /B ----->  Not connected
    C ------> 1C
    /C ----->  Not connected
    UB -----> 1M
    GND ---->  NC
    Is this right? Am I missing something? Thanks for helping me understand.

    That will need a signal conditioner that can handle Push-Pull (Differential) signals such as a FC-ISO-C. http://www.automationdirect.com/pn/FC-ISO-C
