    I’m using a current version of a Win PLC and trying to tune a PID Loop. I’ve been using PID for decades but I can’t seem to get the derivative gain out of the controller, even when set to 0.00. the loop tends to “see” into the process too much, backing down the output before I cross setpoint (with just P&I tuning numbers).

    It’s a fragile process and any help anyone could offer would be great.
