Iím using a current version of a Win PLC and trying to tune a PID Loop. Iíve been using PID for decades but I canít seem to get the derivative gain out of the controller, even when set to 0.00. the loop tends to ďseeĒ into the process too much, backing down the output before I cross setpoint (with just P&I tuning numbers).

Itís a fragile process and any help anyone could offer would be great.
