  • Problem with Maths (DL06)

    Hi,

I am having issus filling the Parameter 3 of a Ctrio2 (# of steps)

I am doing this simple math rung and have a silly answer.

    LDD V5100 (8600 Decimal)
    ADDD V3402 (500 decimal)
    MULD V3400 (4 Decimal)
    OUTD V430

    (V5101, V3403 ans v3401 are obviously at 0)

Why is the result of this 8792 (Hex) ?
What I an I doing wrong?
Does the Citrio2 Parameter 3 has to be hexadecimal?
    Thanks

You need to use Binary math. ADDBD, MULBD, etc.

      Math dl06

      Thanks,
That looks fine for ADDBD. Is there a command or a way around for MULBD in DL06? This function is not present.

Also, does it means that calculations must allways be in binary?

      Thanks

        Just use MULB.
