Are the outputs on the Click PLC, C0-00DD1-D, strong enough to energize a 24VDC relay coil, QM2N1-D24. If so can it energize 2 or 3 at a time? Thanks.

If I looked up the right part numbers...

The Click DC outputs are rated for .1 amps per point, or 100 ma

The relay coil draws 36.9 ma

    100ma / 36.9ma = 2.710 relays allowed so...

2 but not 3 should be OK

At .1 a per point capability for the Click and this relay with a coil current of 36.9 ma you would be going over with 3. I would advise driving an intermediate relay and let its contacts switch the multiple relays. As a matter of choice I usually only do one output coil device per output and try to keep the current under 1/2 of the rated capability.

Spend the extra $10 on a C0-00DR-D. Cheap insurance and peace of mind.

If you can get by with 3 amp relay contacts instead of 5 amps, the also sell a 4 pole relay to get more individual contacts....QM4N1-D24

          Just another thought,
