  • Click Analog... Sync A-D voltage converter

    Hello all

I am attempting to build a Coulomb Counter and current controller with a Click Analog PLC.

I am using a 250 ohm resistor across the voltage input to read current.
The idea is to read the voltage, and use that information to adjust the current in an electroplating cell using the Y1 to Y4 to adjust the plating voltage, and then stop when the required amount of plating is finished according to Faraday's laws.

The spec for the A-D Voltage input says the conversion takes 50 ms.

Is there any way to synchronize the scan loop with the voltage conversion? IE: How do I know when the 50msec conversion time is done, and I am not reading the voltage while the conversion is in process?

    Thanks

    Kephra, aka Bill

The voltage read is the result of the last completed conversion. It does not reflect the partial conversion as it progresses.
