  • Use of non printable ASCII codes in Text messages

For activating a RS232 Display I need to Send (by Port2) strings of code including characters like $00 (NUL) or $05 (ENQ). A full code could be something like ($AA) ($20) ($00) ($05).
Can this be done other then by using embed ASCII codes? The use of an embed location does not work since I have no way of adding such codes in locations (DS or DH).

You can use the Send Dynamic Text option, just build your "string" message first in TXT addresses. Hex characters can be entered directly using "$00" for null. If you have a changing value then you'll need to go through a DH address first then use Copy to TXT with the Binary option.
