    Thanks for the responses and suggestion.
    I would like to step up the PLC but there are about 500 of them included in the project so the incremental cost of upgraded equipment can get out of hand quickly. And we are already in the project with about 100 of them now.

    Let's assume he means a Click PLC since that's the forum it's posted in. A different PLC (D-more) is a valid suggestion but not really an answer for him. Only the Click developers can provide an answer.

  • Support for Variables in Communication Instructions

    Are there any plans to implement the use of variables as inputs to communication instructions?
    i have a project where i need to communicate with multiple similar (but different) types of modbus slaves. if i could keep the IP address, slave ID, etc... in a variable and use that variable in the instruction i could standardize the program to work in all situations.

    Just asking to see if this is a future possibility.
