  • catching the peak

i am trying to catch the peak from an analog signal using click, it is easy using the brx plc and help from my friends from host engineering. But now i would like to do it in click.
    Any ideas are welcome.

Look for the equivalent instructions in the Click as were suggested for the BRX

in brx i used the max instruction, i am not sure that you mean "equivalent", i would like to "catch" the high point in an analog signal and only hold the highest. if you could show example of what you mean that would be great.

        This should do the trick.

Depending on the application one might need to consider that the CLICK analog input is not blindingly fast, conversion time is about 40 times as long as a BRX (50mS vs 1.2mS) for many application the CLICK is plenty fast enough, but it is something to consider.

that worked out well Bolt you are the man, the simplicity of that example is crazy.
