  • Compiler Error: Trying to AND above a JOIN

Does anyone know why this ladder logic would give the Compiler Error: Trying to AND above a JOIN error or how to fix this line of code?

Sadly, the current Designer does not allow that construct in a single rung. You will need to duplicate the C9 Enable contact on 3 separate rungs

    --]C9[------]C3[---------(Y11)

    --]C9[------]C2[---------(Y10)

    --]C9[------]C1[---------(Y9)

You could use a If..Then..Else arrangement to get it all on one rung.
        Harder to read though.

          Interesting! Cool!

For the 2nd COPY (C9 OFF condition), RSTR Y9-Y11 would be better

I like MEMCOPY for the true case.
