  • P2000 remote IO and data statistics

    1) Is the output tag used elsewhere in the logic?
    2) PLC in run?
    3) Instruction being scanned? ( make sure no END instruction before the rung on which the instruction is placed.)
    4) Is the rung the instruction is on enabled.
    5) You can move the rung that has the instruction to the top of you logic with no logic in front of it so it is enabled all the time and place an END on the next rung to test and make sure it is not other logic. ( If possible)

Include a screenshot of logic or the project for more assistance.

All of what techme said and

3.a) if the DATA instruction is in a called task, is the task being called. --experience!

I see that happen quite often, it is an easy mistake to make. Wondering out loud if it is possible to have the P suite give the user a warning if you try to put code after an end instruction.

WHAT! an END where it should not be? Never.

Kind of like the program check rules in domore.

[edit] add quote because out of sequence post/add 'program check' wording

I second the warning message prior to uploading to controller. This has gotten me more than once.

This will be in the next major release of the software that is currently planned for later this year. It will display a warning & in the problem report on compile and/or project transfer.

                        Nice. Quick.
Too bad that I was already reading this post when I got the email notification.
