    • Click
      • Ability to Write your own instructions in C or C++ and import them into the Click Programming environment, so you can use them in your ladder logic.
      • A plugin API for the click programming environment (IDE) so that you can extend the functionality with custom code. preferable.Net Core / .Net Standard Based.
      • A Raw controller version of the Click CPU that lets you dump your own custom C or C++ Program into the controller in place of normal Ladder.
    • Productivity
      • IEC 61131-3 User Defined Function Blocks and Functions, with Polymorphism for the Function Blocks.
      • A plugin API for the Productivity programming environment (IDE) so that you can extend the functionality with custom code. preferable.Net Core / .Net Standard Based.
      • Ability to Write your own instructions in C or C++ and import them into the Productivity Programming environment, so you can use them in your ladder logic.
      • A Controller with a Secondary ARM CPU and components (IE Built in RaspberryPi) so that you can run Linux and High-Level Code on an OS along with the PLC program. (This would be huge for us at my company.
        • This would also Allow Codesys to run on the Second CPU if you wanted.
        • Also, a dedicated bus between the PLC CPU and the ARM CPU so that they can talk to one another without using bandwidth on other communication media.
