  • Sensor with M8 connector request

Is there anyway to get THIS SENSOR with 150mm or so length cable and a molded 4-pin M8 connector at cable's end?

Currently, we us a Telemecanique (formerly Hyde-Park) model that is $185 from Allied Electronics.

We can't use the 7000-08391-0000000 M8 field wireable connector as it's too long.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the request. I sent it along to the Product Manager for consideration. It was suggested that using an M12 female to M8 male patch cable with the Q/D version of that sensor may work for you. Unfortunately, at the moment, we do not carry that cable but thank you again for your feedback.
If you have an urgent issue, please contact AutomationDirect's Technical Support team at 1(800) 633-0405 or (770) 844-4200. Thank you

Yea, but unfortunately where the sensor has to go there is no room for connecting an M12 cable, straight or 90 at the back of version with M12 connection. Second problem is once the sensor is mounted, there is not enough space to get a field wired M8 connector through the wiring pathway. Thanks just the same.
